FLCC is a volunteer run club and we can not thrive without members' help.

Board positions elected at the FLCC AGM in February 2017 include: Commodore, Vice Commodore, Secretary, Treasurer, Member at Large, FW rep, DB rep, OC rep or Voy rep. There are also several board-appointed, non-voting positions in the club: Safety Officer, Communications Officer, Maintenance Coordinator.
If you are interested in becoming more involved in the club and its activities and want to learn more about any of these positions please contact any of the current board members as soon as possible.

It's all about the weather . . . . . 

Above average cold weather has dominated the situation on the river for the past month, keeping paddlers off the water, for the most part.  The voyageurs caught a suitable window New Year's Days for their annual Paddle and Pot-luck.  See photo below.

While is can be beautiful to look at, it comes with danger.  Err on the side of caution when considering cold weather paddling.

Workout Equipment - free for the taking

BCS (Bedford Channel Society has free work-out equipment.  Contact Carolyn at carolynkessler20@gmail.com.

Equipment can be picked up from the storage area.

The Bedford Channel Society operates boathouses and storage for the use of the local non-motorized watersports organizations and their members in the Bedford Channel.  FLCC is a member of BCS..
