C-Dragons
Heading to Nationals and beyond
FLCC C-Dragons
FLCC C-Dragons is a newly formed senior C competitive women’s Dragon Boat team, aged 59+. These fit committed women love the exhilaration of racing and are committed to training hard together with a team of like-minded women.
The goal is to compete and qualify at Nationals in August 2025 in Montreal; and Club Crew Worlds Championships (CCWC) in Taiwan in 2026.
To achieve these goals, we train all year round. Practices focus on timing, technique, and power; cross training in the outrigger canoe builds cardio and endurance; gym workouts blend flexibility with strength training specific to paddling.
Practices through fall/winter are twice a week; spring/summer three times a week on the water; working consistently on technique improvement, endurance and commit to improving strength with gym workouts.
C-Dragons is recruiting for experienced, fit, competitive women aged 59+who love the exhilaration of racing and are committed to training hard with a team of like-minded women.
