Big Canoe Drop-ins, Tuesdays, Saturdays & Special Paddles

Drop-in is free to members of FLCC.  For non-members, it is a chance to try a fun and exciting sport. Signing a waiver is required and there is a fee of $10.00/person.  Exact change please.  Non-members download waiver here.

Minimum number of paddlers/steer during freshet is 8.  Minimum number of paddlers/steer during regular flow is 5.

Meet at Canoe Dock (Marina Park). Sign-up by 5:00 pm, the day before.  The determination to go or cancel will be made at that time.

Nicomen Slough with PMPC, June 11th, 2026

This outing will be organized and lead by Pitt Meadows Paddling Club.

Details:  10 am to 2 pm. Meet at 9:45 at Dewdney Boat Launch just outside of town of Dewdney. We’ll launch at the boat launch at the Nicomen Slough mouth and meander up the slough, hoping for enough water. It’s rural at first with farms along the edge, but turns into almost wilderness at the foot of Nicomen Mountain. If we are lucky, we’ll make it to Deroche.

Drop in fee of $15 plus $10 trailering fee.
