Kindred Spirit

We call ourselves "Kindred Spirit". This is the term for people who share similar thoughts and feelings. Originally our team comprised of many breast cancer survivors.
The Kindred Spirit team members range in age from early 20's to almost 70 years of age. We believe that Dragon Boating is a great way to unite and have fun, and exercise to boot !
We formed the team in 2005 and have never looked back! {because we're not allowed to} We are told by our coach Ben to ONLY LOOK FORWARD !
We practise twice a week on the mighty Fraser River in beautiful Fort Langley. During the history of our team we have been in many regattas.
We have gone as far North as Whistler, East as Kelowna, South as Seattle and West as Victoria.
Our team has been busy hosting fundraisers to finance the regattas. We have achieved great success with garage sales, pub nights and gift raffles. Through this, we support the cure for breast cancer.
This season, Kindred Spirit will be entering regattas in beautiful Kent, Washington, and Vernon and Penticton.
