Fraser Dragons

Mondays & Wednesdays 515 to 645pm

We formed our team in 2009 and are comprised of many new paddlers.   Our team has worked very hard at growing our team on a technical level and we continue to see the results paying off in our races. We practice Monday & Wednesdays from 5:15 – 6:45.  We have formed many great friendships that carry us through both on & off the boat. 

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic new members at any level of experience – including 1st timers! 

If you want to learn a new sport that is great exercise, offers wonderful team camaraderie and is a whole lot of fun, Email Cathy before this team is full.

     Kent, Washington, USA annual 2011 regatta couldn't have turned out to be any more beautiful.

The sun was shining brightly and so were the FLCC Fraser Dragons. Race 1 we placed 3rd (2.27.13) race 2 we placed third (2.32.36), race 3 we came in first at a time of 2.26.25 which took us into the B division. As we waited in the pre-marshal area for our final race a large Dragonfly landed on our captain, Cathy; a little good luck charm. With Dan steering and Cheryl calling we reached far, dug deep and rotated into first place at a time of 2.29.56 bringing home a cup & medals for our team and FLCC.
