FORTified win the Mixed and Women's Events

Team FORTified has achieved our goal of winning at the BC Senior Games. A women's team was added to the mixed team for the 2010 games, held in  Comox, with Ben rising to the challenge of blending paddlers from almost every team in FLCC to produce the winning way. Ben smiled.

A new team is born - FORTified Ladies

Coming together just for the BC Senior Summer Games, the new team gathers members from almost every other FLCC team to join the core of ladies from the FORTified mixed team. At the launch party, Sven, the Team Mascot, was introduced to the crew.

 

 

 

FORTified is the first ever MASTERS team for the Fort Langley Canoe Club, formed in 2009. We are comprised of a mix of those who have already raced with other teams within FLCC and a group of brand new first-time Dragon Boat racers. And we all LOOK GOOD.


This is a very exciting year for us we will be representing the Club in the BC Senior Games to take place in Richmond in September of this year.


If you were born in 1954 or earlier...then this is the team for you!! 

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45 - 8pm (usually followed by social "pubbing").
